Rebekah White is originally from the foothills of Mount Baker, WA. She moved to Spokane with her family at age thirteen and has called the area home for much of her life. After marrying her husband in Spokane in 2004, the two spent several years moving around the country in support of his military career before returning to Spokane in 2019.
Rebekah was homeschooled through most of high school and began her formal college education as a Running Start student at Spokane Community College. She graduated with both her high school diploma and a two-year associate degree. In 2023, she was accepted to Eastern Washington University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology with a focus on autism and comorbid disorders. She graduated magna cum laude in the spring of 2025.
Rebekah was a stay-at-home mother from 2005 to 2020 before returning to the workforce as an in-home care aide for seniors. She worked as a caregiver for three years before returning to school to complete her degree in psychology, strengthening both her practical and academic foundation for supporting others.
Outside of work, Rebekah is an avid fiber artist. She crochets, spins yarn, and designs patterns, often gravitating toward lightweight yarns and technically intricate projects. Her creativity and patience are reflected both in her craft and in her professional life.
Her path into social services is deeply personal. When her son reached employability age, she quickly saw how difficult it could be for individuals with disabilities to secure meaningful employment. After learning about Triumph, she realized that one of the most impactful ways she could give back to her community was to help people with disabilities find work and build greater independence.
Her personal motto is, “There’s more than enough anger in the world, be the reason why people smile.” This belief guides her work and reinforces her commitment to bringing encouragement, compassion, and positivity to the individuals and community she serves.
