Korinn Schroeder- CDP I

Korinn was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and moved to Spokane at the age of two where she has stayed close to the Pacific Northwest ever since. In 2015 she returned to Spokane, where her son attended the same high school she once did, bringing her family’s story full circle.

Korinn earned her bachelor's degree in health and human services in 1994 and went on to spend more than twenty years in medical and healthcare consulting. Strong communication skills, deep compassion, and a commitment to helping others eventually steered her toward social services, mental health advocacy, and peer counseling.

After some time, she stepped into a new chapter by earning her Certified Peer Counselor credential, which really sparked her passion for supporting people through empowerment, lived experience, and genuine connection. She joined Washington’s WISe system as a Care Coordinator and later moved into the Youth and Family Certified Peer Counselor role. Korinn quickly became known for showing up strong for youth and families, helping them make sense of complicated systems, and guiding them toward stability and growth.

Her work in WISe introduced her to Triumph Community Services where she immediately connected with Triumph’s mission, heart, and authenticity and believed strongly in their vision. While still in WISe, she was the one who ended up referring Triumph’s first client!  They later graduated from our services and secured full-time employment. Seeing Triumph’s integrity in action left a lasting impression and ultimately influenced her decision to join the agency.

Outside of work, Korinn is a proud mother of two sons. Her oldest launched a roofing company at 22, and her youngest became a licensed pilot before he even earned his driver’s license. She also enjoys creating digital videos and short films, her modern twist on the creative scrapbooking traditions many mothers treasured in the 1980s.

Now as a CDP with Triumph, Korinn brings more than two decades of combined experience in healthcare, behavioral health, peer support, program development, and client advocacy. She is dedicated to helping individuals recognize their strengths, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward independence and self-sufficiency. Her approach is grounded in empowerment, active listening, and celebrating the unique potential of each person she works with. Korinn is honored to serve the community and remains committed to helping every individual discover their worth, strengthen their independence, and move toward a future grounded in dignity and purpose.

“When we work to enrich our community here in Spokane, we don’t just help people survive; we help them discover their worth, rise with purpose, and become a part of building a stronger city for us all.”
-Korinn Schroeder
